Pope Benedict XVI has proclaimed June 28, 2008 – June 29, 2009 as the Pauline Year in honor of the bi-millennium of the birth of St. Paul the Apostle.
Bishop Kevin J. Farrell, Bishop of the Diocese of Dallas, has designated St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Richardson as the diocesan pilgrimage site for the Jubilee Year.
Plenary Indulgence: The faithful have an additional opportunity to receive a plenary indulgence during the Pauline Year by attending mass and spending at least one half hour in prayerful adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. The standard practice of receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist are still in place.

A Symposium on St. Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, will be presented from 9:00AM – 3:00PM by noted Pauline scholars, Father Sean Martin and Dean Brian Schmisek. A continental breakfast and light lunch will be included for the registration fee of $20.00. |
