In the planning stages for a parish-wide picnic (that will be in addition to the banquet in April) to celebrate our 50th anniversary of Saint Paul the Apostle parish.

During November we financially assisted 12 families (27 people) and referred 19 other families to other assistance sources.  The later total includes our referrals to Network for food. During the month the parish was again very generous to the Network food drive.

The financial support totaled $4,490.42. This includes $1,364.93 that was spent on household items for hurricane evacuees. This money was the balance of the over $2,300 that was received from the KoC Katrina fish fry.  With the KoC funds, we were able to fill out home setups for more than 70 families.

NOTE: NETWORK NEEDS FOOD! They are especially in need of baby food in jars and paper products. Please bring your donations to the Narthex the weekend of Dec. ___.
