St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Funeral Ministry
The Funeral Ministry Team , coordinated by Virginia Cardenas, works alongside our Priests, the Parish Office, and our Womens’ Guild to bring comfort and peace to our grieving families. The Coordinator helps the family set a time, date, and location for the Rosary and Funeral Mass. The families also receive help in choosing the prayers, music, readings, and more in a way that follows church protocol. The team serves as Greeters, Sacristans, Lectors, and Extraordinary Minsters of Holy Communion.
Our Funeral Ministry is working to fulfill two Acts of Mercy: Corporal Work of Mercy: to bury the dead and Spiritual Work of Mercy and to comfort the sorrowful and pray for the living and the dead.
If a loved one has died and you need to make arrangements, please contact the Parish Office at 972.235.6105.
